Illinois Helps Lawyers Understand Suicide Risks

Together with the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide prevention, the Illinois Lawyers’ Assistance Program is co-sponsoring an important new legal education program on lawyers and suicide. This free program, titled “Lawyers and Suicide: What We Can Do” will take place on April 25th and will include information on suicide in the legal profession, prevention, risk assessment, intervention, and support for survivors. Although the event is designed for LAP volunteers, all interested members of the legal profession are invited and encouraged to attend.

For more information, view the Illinois LAP website. To register, call the LAP office at 312-726-6607 or email them at bmclaughlin@illinoislap.org
