Australian Foundation Creates Guidelines for Psychological Wellbeing

Responding to high rates of mental health issues in the legal profession and seeking to create healthier legal workplaces, the Australian organization Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation (TJMF) released, “TJMF Psychological Wellbeing: Best Practice Guidelines for the Legal Profession.” The Guidelines are structured around 13 different factors – like organizational culture, clear leadership and expectations and civility and respect – and each factor comes with practical advice in the form of “suggested implementation frameworks.” To date, 15 firms have signed up.
