Work continues to revise ABA standards ensuring minimum competency in awareness of mental health and well-being

Dean Janet Stearns of the University of Miami School of Law and Associate Dean David Jaffe of American University Washington College of Law were recently published in Volume 4, Issue 2, of Raising the Bar, a quarterly newsletter dedicating to exchanging evidenced-based ideas about improving the bar exam. Dean Stearns and Associate Dean Jaffe wrote about recent efforts of the ABA Section for Legal Education and Admission to the Bar to propose amendments addressing concerns raised in various studies regarding the need for increased access to information and resources on law student well-being while students are in law school.
